Hey Everybody!! Just wanted to drop a little note to let everyone know what is going on in the land of the Chandlers...
We still don't have internet!! I feel sorry for Tim. He is like, cut off from the world and hating it. :( That is why we haven't posted pictures and stuff. They are supposed to be coming to the house today to check it out, so keep your fingers crossed that we get it real soon.
We just had a really good weekend with B.J. and Jess. They came to Corn Country to hang with us for a few days. We had a good time finding things to do in the area. On our way to a disc golf course we found the most ADORABLE puppy. I really wanted them to take it home, but we found the owner. It ended up being a great Pyrenese. They are HUGE!! Anyways, we went geocaching and got to see places we otherwise wouldn't have. It was fun.
Tim and I were pretty bummed last night, b/c yesterday marked one year since we lost little Emma. It was a weird day, but we are past it now. We are praying for that to be the end of a REALLY BAD year so we can move forward!! Things are definitely looking up for us now. We appreciate everyone who has prayed for us, and we hope that you continue to.
So, hopefully we will get internet soon (and our computer back; the hard drive crashed), so we can post pictures of stuff.
Peace out...

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE???
TIM DOES!!!
Hey Everyone. We had a very busy weekend, but we are now 1 step closer to settling down. We moved in to our new place this weekend. We lacked motivation, so we didn't get as much done as we wanted to, but at least we're in. The kitchen and bedroom are pretty much done. I wish that we were already settled, b/c I have pictures of all the things we are doing to show you all. I can't wait to have all my stuff available to me. By the way, our computer was hit by lightning, but we are pretty sure we can still get our pictures.
So, about the millionaire thing...
Tim is going to be flying to St. Louis today in a $6 million Leer Jet! A guy at our new church is a private pilot and they are selling this plane for an upgrade, and he asked Tim to go with him to drop it off. What a life... Can you believe he gets paid to do stuff like that??

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!!
Hey Everyone. I don't feel much like writing, but I do want everyone to know that I appreciate their support, emails, flowers, and prayers. Please keep praying for my family, especially my mom and dad. Although I have a small clue as to how they feel, my situation can't compare. We have a long road ahead, and it gets overwhelming!!
ALSO,
Wednesday night we spent a few hours in the ER with Tim. We were pretty sure that he had a broken ankle. Turns out it is just a severe sprain. Unfortunately, Tim thinks this means it isn't a big deal and he can do whatever he wants... What am I going to do with him??

IT'S POURING :(
Hey Everyone.
This is Tim Writing.
I say it is pouring, because we have been hit yet again with more hurt and pain. Erin's brother, Justin passed away last night due to a 4-wheeler accident. It is a tragedy that proves itself to be the toughest yet. We are asking for prayers for our friends and family through all of this. This is especially tough on Erin, because Justin is her only sibling, so please lift her up in prayer.
Thank You and God Bless,
Tim

WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS...
Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We have been so busy getting things ready to move. I promise when we get moved and settled in a little bit, I will get caught up on everything I need to post. So, for the bad news...
On Friday afternoon, Tim got word that his grandpa from Leitchfield, KY (Vicki's dad) had to be StatFlighted to Louisville. We got down there as soon as we could, but it was too late. Apparently he had had a massive heart attack. Then, he went into cardiac arrest on the operating table. Tim is having a difficult time with this, as can be imagined. It was pretty sudden. Anyways, he is at the visitation today and funeral tomorrow. I couldn't make it b/c of work. So, please keep his family in your prayers right now while they go through this difficult time. Thanks!
AND... If anyone wants to help us pack up our moving truck....
The plan is to load up the most of the truck friday night, but you know how that goes. Let me know if you are coming to help.
Ciao for now.

WEEK HOUND THE MAP BEWITCHIN' TOUR
Hey Everyone. Ever play MadGab?? The title to this blog is a freaking awesome example of this really cool game. Figure out what it says... Leave me a comment. (Here's a hint: It's Bible MadGab.) So, as you can see, Erin is lazy. Still didn't get the pictures put up from our weekend at Cedar Point. I will try to work on it, but you shouldn't expect it anytime soon. We got the keys to our new house yesterday, so we will be busy the next few weekends. We have to clean and paint before we can move in AND I haven't packed anything from the house in Richmond, so I have a lot to do. This will be fun though! We are excited. If anyone wants to help, email me and I'll let you know our plans. I'd write them here, but if any of you have figured it out, WE HAVE A SPY!! Most of you know the situation, and we all think it is FUNNY!
Boo-yah.

SORRY...
Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't posted about our trip last weekend yet. It's been a crazy week. My great grandpa passed away on Sunday and we've been doing all that stuff this week. Tim performed the services and he did a wonderful job. We were pretty nervous about it though. Anyways, I have a wonderful 3-day weekend starting tomorrow, so I will get this going. Still no word from the Bowling Green area. WE'RE ON TO YOU!!!

WHO'S FROM BOWLING GREEN??
Hey Everyone. We had a great weekend with 3/5 of the Dawson clan. We went to Cedar Point for the weekend. I will try to have pictures tomorrow and I will write about our trip. It was awesome!! Anyways, I was wondering who is checking out the blog from Bowling Green, KY. Leave us a comment and let us know who you are. We are so flattered that you check out our blog. Peace out everyone. Come back tomorrow.

LOOK WHO CAME FOR A VISIT...
Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't updated for a while, nothing has been going on. I guess that is a good thing! Anyways, Sean Ealey (from Cynthiana, KY) came to visit yesterday. We haven't seen him in quite a while, so it was cool. It was nice catching up. For those of you who don't know, Sean was the first kid we had in youth group that went to Bible College (Johnson) and he will be graduating in May. Can't believe it's been that long already. Anyways, I think the visit was encouraging for all of us. Well, the boys went to the park, while I stayed home and fixed dinner. So it was at least encouraging to them. JUST KIDDING!! Oh yeah, we're on facebook now. So look us up and be our friends!!Monday, July 2, 2007
MOVE OVER JEFF CORWIN....
YEAH! We finally found time to go to the park and have a picnic together. (Man, I should have taken a picture of it). It was nice. We stretched out on a blanket and ate. Then, we laid there and listened to the birds and watched a squirrel jump through the trees. It was so relaxing. I can't believe that we are at the age where we like to just sit and be quiet... Then, we got up and decided to go on a hike! We hiked down a steep hill to the creek at Clifty Falls. We, (by we I mean I) missed the trail, so we hiked through the creek until we reached a dead end and had to turn around. It was fun though. We found this really cool waterfall. You can't see it really well in the picture, but the whole wall is covered with water, then it runs underground. We had a really
good day hanging out together. We took a lot of pictures. Tim found this OLD (really old) 35mm camera in my mom's storage, so we took it out to play with. Who knows if it even works... And since we actually have to wait to get the film back, we'll have to see later. He almost looks like a professional. HAHA!Love, Peace, & Chicken Grease.....Oh yeah,
Congrats to Westside on their new youth minister! Kids, have fun at Spirit Song. We miss you and love you all.

TIM AND THE LOST BOYS.....
Hey Everyone!!! This is what we did on our first Sunday at Westview Christian Church. Well, this is what Tim did. I just took the pictures (although I was excited to have something to put on the blog)! It's kind of hard to see, but there is a kid in the very top of the tree. He is 11 yrs old, his name is Collin. He's a punk, but what 11 yr old isn't? We started off on the RIGHT foot, cause I videotaped him up there crying for ten minutes b/c he was too scared to jump. He's afraid that I'm going to show everyone at church and put it on Youtube. Awesome, huh? Anyways, it was like 95 degrees outside and I was miserable, but the boys had fun I think. I love this picture; the way they are all lined up in the tree.
This is another GOOD idea that these boys came up with a few days earlier. If any of you have seen the new Disney movie, Johnny Kapahala, you will know what I am talking about. They have this thing that they call a mountain board or dirt board. They thought it would be cool to pull it behind the fourwheeler. They hold onto a rope tied around a metal pole (really safe) and act like they are water skiing. Of course Tim had to try it out. No one got hurt surprisingly.
Well, anyways, we don't know yet how we are going to adjust to life at a new church. I still can't believe that the people are as nice as they are. It's hard to know how to feel. It seems evident that God is in the midst of this, but it's hard to want to move on from Westside. Any Advice?? Leave comments....

WE WENT FROM THE WESTSIDE TO THE WESTVIEW....

So, yesterday was our first OFFICIAL day at the Westview Christian Church in Campbellsburg, IN. There were like 190 people at church on Sunday morning (I don't remember the actual count, but I know it was over 190). That's a good sign, huh? Speaking of signs, it's weird to see our names on the sign. I can't believe how nice everyone is being. They are a super friendly group of people. And I thought that wasn't possible north of the ohio.... :)
This is the church building. It's a nice size. Looks like there are good places to play Hide & Seek. The section on the right is the original building. If you could see inside you would know this by the ORANGE, FUZZY PEWS. They are the ugliest I have seen to date, but pretty sweet too. Then the section on the left is the new addition. They finished it about this time last year. It has a nice gym and kitchen, and classrooms upstairs.
I have a whole lot to say, but I am dragging it out so that I have something to do at work everyday. I AM SO BORED!!!!!!!!!! So, be sure in check in tomorrow. I have some awesome pictures of what Tim did to get INITIATED on his first day by some of the jr. high boys.

OUR SCHEDULES JUST GOT A LOT MORE HECTIC!!!!
So, last night we went to Cambellsburg to meet with the elders. It was their first night of VBS and Tim was asked to lead a class. It went well. He did a good job as always. It would have made me sick to have to do something like that! Anyways, when we went down for snack half-way through, they stood Tim up and introduced him as their new youth minister. I couldn't believe how excited people were about it, (especially the men). Maybe now he'll finally be treated as well as he should! So, he's going to VBS every night this week on top of his normal work schedule at the school. We decided that he would work at the church part-time for a few months, just to make sure this is a good place for us (and vice versa). Attendance runs around 180, and the people are really nice. There is no way that the youth group can compare to Westside, but so far the leadership looks like they have a whole lot more sense :) We'll see! So, please pray for us. And pray that our house sells soon. We're ready to get settled somewhere... I'll put up a picture of the church sometime this week. If we could get a day off together, we would do something cool to put on our blog. We miss everyone. Leave comments!!!!!

TIM HAD A GOOD INTERVIEW....
For anyone who remembered, Tim had an interview on Wednesday. He met with the preacher and a few deacons from a church in Campbellsburg, IN. He said the interview went really well. They said that they would talk to the elders Sunday and let Tim know something early next week. Well, the preacher called Wednesday night and invited Tim to VBS for a few nights next week. I think for the rest of the month he is going to work there part-time. This way the church and Tim can get a feel for if this will be a good fit. We all know how "gun-shy" we are right now! Anyways, I haven't really talked to Tim since Sunday night, so I don't know ALL the details, but if I find out anything new I will fill everyone in. I love my new job, but with our schedules we never see each other. As most of you know, that is a new thing to me and Tim. Thanks for everyone who is checking us out and leaving comments, even if they are crazy....
Oh and pray that our house sells soon. We're stressed!!!!!

HEY EVERYONE....
So, we decided to try this webpage thing to keep everyone clued in to what we are up to. We just spent the weekend with BJ and Jess for Tim's 28th birthday!!!! It was a lot of fun. Sorry I don't have any pictures to show. From now on I will remember to take my camera everywhere, so that you all can see what we are doing. Anyways, for those of you who don't know already, I just started last week with the Census Bureau. It is going really well so far, because I don't really have any work to do!!! Tim has an informal interview with a preacher and the elders from a church in Cambellsburg, IN on wednesday. They are going to meet for lunch before Tim has to go to work. We have our fingers crossed. Tim is especially excited, so pray for us. Keep praying that the house will sell soon too. Anyways, I really don't know much else. Keep checking in on us and leave comments. We really miss the crew in Richmond. Hope to see you soon!
